Exchange Place Tour

We will explore how Exchange Place reflects some of the many ways downtown Salt Lake City has grown and changed over 100 years. Together we’ll consider the district’s origins, its heyday as a center for intermountain West finances, and how commerce and nightlife sustain it today. As we walk for a half mile, we’ll visit such landmarks as the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Hall, the Boston and Newhouse Buildings, Commercial Club, First Security Bank Building, and Hotel Plandome.
