Constance Anderson - Standing Room Only

Constance Anderson is a choreographer, filmmaker, and performer. As the founder of Sock Opera Dance, she has presented at festivals across the country, Greece, and Spain. She holds a Master’s in Modern Dance from the University of Utah and teaches at Weber State University and SLCC. Standing Room Only will trace the demolition of three historic Downtown theaters. From summer 2026 through spring 2027, Anderson and local dancers will activate these former theaters with temporary sculptures by fabrication artist Cody Anderson — through both guerrilla and announced performances — reclaiming demolished spaces for their original purpose.
