Wille and The Bandits and Erik Vincent Huey Tuesday, August 18 7:00 PM – 11:30 PM Doors open at 6:30 PM WILLE AND THE BANDITS Wille and the Bandits are a British-based band who play a variety of different genres spanning across the blues, rock, Latin and folk styles. The band currently consists of Wille Edwards, Matthew Gallagher, Harry Mackaill and Tom Gilkes. To date, they have released five studio albums and one live album. ERIK VINCENT HUEY The son of four generations of coal miners, Erik grew up along the banks of the Monongahela River in West Virginia and Western Pennsylvania. He came of age listening to The Clash, X and the Sex Pistols, but never truly escaped his Appalachian roots. From the cowpunk on-ramp of The Blasters, The Beat Farmers, Jason & the Scorchers, and Dwight Yoakam, he wandered upstream along the Hillbilly Highway until he rediscovered Johnny Cash and George Jones—artists he’d listened to as a kid in the cab of his Uncle Jack’s 18-wheeler.
