Discover the Beauty of Art at Wasatch Plein Air Paradise JUNE 20-JULY 4TH 2026 Although Plein Air artists have a knack for making even mundane scenery look beautiful, it makes for a great Plein Air Festival when the views are spectacular! The landscape in the Heber Valley is stunning, providing lake, mountain, and rural farm vistas; along with quaint historic homes and rustic barns that give professional and amateur artists plenty of subject matter to both challenge, and inspire their work. Because Midway Art Association’s Plein Air Paradise event is so popular, it gets bigger every year, drawing a growing number of top professional artists, and savvy art collectors.  The festival features a Main ‘Plein Air’ Competition as well as local ‘Paint Outs’ and a 90 minute ‘Quick Draw & Auction’ which is a favorite of attendees as they watch amazing artists complete a masterwork in minutes! The Midway Art Association is proud to provide a welcoming environment for artists of all levels through educational demos at their monthly meetings; member shows and sales; and of course the annual Plein Air Paradise event which highlights and promotes the work of artists from all parts of the county.
