Citizen Readiness Corps - Free Emergency Prep Class

Our next West Jordan emergency preparedness Citizen Readiness Corps event will begin earlier starting on October 22nd, at 6 pm, at West Jordan City Hall Community Room on the first floor (8000 S Redwood Rd) to accommodate for the full three hour training. Guests and topic: Presenters will be Brad Jewett, Salt Lake County Emergency Management Intelligence Specialist and Jerrilynn Applegate, Utah State Analysis and Information Center. The topic is National Threat Evaluation and Reporting: While ‘capability’ is often reactive, responding only to the present situation, ‘intelligence’ is more proactive, involving learning from experience, adapting, and making informed decisions.
